This week we welcome Scott Shelden and Andy Pottinger from Elevate LCV. This Facebook group connects local businesses with restaurants struggling with the COVID 19 restrictions. With discounted or free food or drinks being offered for a selected number of patrons, local residents have incentives to and reminders to support these local restaurants.

EP42 SJRMC Final Installation: Teamsters

Episode description: When the St. Joe’s Nurses decided they wanted union representation; they turned to the largest union organization in the US, the Teamsters. On our last SJRMC union episode we spoke with Teamsters Val Holstrom, Secretary-Treasurer, and Larry Kroetch, JC-28 Warehouse Division Chair, of the Local No. 690. They spoke of the good that unions do for employers and workers in general, and how they plan to make St. Joes a better place for the community.
